Manifesting Your Career
The power of thoughts and wording.
This afternoon I had the pleasure of sitting down with my Aunt over coffee to discuss the power of wording in the present moment to ultimately create your future.
Being that we are both passionate about affirmations I thought I would share this journal entry on ways to apply these techniques to manifest the career or life of your dreams.
Manifestation 101. “Everything that you need has already been provided by the universe.”
The next action is writing the affirmations you want to tap into and aligning yourself with the correct energy in order to attract your dream life.
When referring to our dreams we often use words like “I want” in a future tense.
One of the important keys to manifesting your desires is using words in the present tense or words which indicate that our dreams and visions have already manifested such as “I am” or “I have.”
“I am a successful artist.”
“I am” are two of the most powerful words we can use in our vocabulary in order to achieve
our goals. This, along with action, is the key to manifesting your dreams.
This is something I have been applying to my life since I was a young girl, before I even knew that believing and manifesting your thoughts into reality was possible.
Thoughts and Feelings
First and foremost, the important thing to understand is that your thoughts create your feelings and your feelings create your reality.
When we think a negative thought it is often accompanied by an emotional response and feeling to match. When it comes to manifesting your dreams you must think in a positive manner to then accompany that thought with a positive feeling. Some of you may be thinking that this is the same as the glass half full, glass half empty example regarding life, however
the sooner we understand that our confidence in our thoughts and feelings leads to our reality being created the sooner you are one step closer to achieving your own personal success.
Belief and Action
Believing in yourself is the strongest stepping stone to achieving your goal, however belief without action is just a thought. An example of this could be learning a new technique or skill. Saying “I can even though I don't know how to” and following this up with research or taking a class is doing the accompanying action.
By doing this you will be able to achieve your goals and manifest your dreams.
Sometimes we need to stop and think if we are living our dream life. If not, it’s okay, there is no need to panic. We can still do small things daily to help practice awareness to create that dream life.
For example, if your goal is to be a stronger person and get fit, sitting at home isn't going to actually help you get fit or stronger. You’re going to have to ask yourself in these moments “i s this helping to contribute to my dream life?” If the answer is no, then you need to back it with an action (in this case getting up and going to the gym) in order to get the motion going and start achieving your goals.
We need to realize that we are all limitless however no one is going to create, achieve or do your work for you. If you’re prepared to take action and do it for yourself your dreams are already in your grasp.
When I started Balyck I had a vision and a hope for what I wanted to create for myself both as a designer and as a business. I started with a thought which developed into feelings of excitement and hope along with a trust and belief in myself that I could accomplish what I dreamed of. Coupled with years of hard work, study, dedication and focus (even when things didn’t always go to plan) I persevered whilst always maintaining a clear vision of what I wanted for my brand.
