Paris My Love
The place where fashion is celebrated, love is debated and the sweets are appreciated.
Where vintage is king and streetstyle is j’adored while you walk the streets in a tutu, heels and a
biker jacket and people applaud.
You haven’t lived until you’ve experience Paris and i’m not talking about the five day stop over,
take a selfie in front of the eiffel tower, eat a croissant, buy a postcard nailed it kind of trip.
I’m talking about getting lost in the streets, shop at the local fruit market with aromas so fragrant
just the smell makes you taste the strawberries and walk the museum halls where many famous
artist’s have walked before you sat and drank coffee whilst discussing their new revelations. As i
discovered no agenda is the Parisian agenda.
After taking an inspiration trip to Paris for a month to work and spend time with one of my best
friends Maja who lives in Paris it’s something i recommend any creative do though be prepare to
have a part of you remain behind forever.
Below is a list and photos of some of my personal favourite places and experiences that i want
to share with you in a city full of contrast of the Old framed by the new.
St Quen market.
By far one of my favourite places and Paris’s best kept secrets is the St Quen market.
An aladdin's cave of antiques, vintage fashion/jewellery and art.
Upon arrival your descent into the market is a scary one masked by what looks like a cheap
wranglers market you eventually discover with a few wrong turns boutiques full of collectors
items. Fashion school and famous designers alike (Karl Lagerfeld and Olivier Rousteing) often
stroll these markets to buy the priceless items that are then funneled into today’s current
fashions and trends. I recommend you dress casual on your day trip to St Quen and be
prepared to return with treasures as the Parisian’s are quick to say no to a photo.

You haven't lived until you’ve taken a bicycle ride to the Cour Napoléon of the Louvre where the
modern like Famous glass and metal pyramid by Chinese-American architect I.M. Pei, frames one of the most historic collections of Art. Prepare to take your time as you gaze at some of the most brilliant past minds of artistic inspiration.
After trying my best to etch all of this wonders into my memory one in particular was my
